Common Turbocharger Issues:
  • Lack of Lubrication - Inspect all Oil Feed Lines and Hoses, Improper lubrication will cause excessive heat which damages bearings and journals
  • Oil Contamination - Change the Oil!! Contamination causes bearing failure
  • Excessive Heat - Revving the engine immediately after start up, give lubrication enough time to circulate within the Turbo before increase RPMs
  • Improper Cool Down - Always give your turbo time to cool when running at high RPMs, Immediate shut down will burn the protective oil coating within the Turbocharger causing damage on next start up.

Warranty Information

Rotomaster warrants each new & remanufactured part to be free from defects and material workmanship under normal use and service.  Rotomaster will repair or replace, at its option, any such part that is considered warranty within twelve (12) months/Unlimited mileage after the sale.  Products that have been returned within 30 days of purchase and have been determined by Rotomaster as valid warranty will have the option for full credit of the product. All parts must be returned for warranty evaluation within 30 days of failure and requires a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number by contacting ForDiesels (855-558-1235) and initiating a warranty claim prior to return. ForDiesels.com will need the Order Number and Vehicle Information (VIN #, Year, Make, Model, Eng) to begin the claim process. Replacement parts will be sent using 2 Day shipping (excluding weekends).
