Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor - Ford Powerstroke 1997-2003 7.3L
The PCM uses data supplied by the EBP Sensor to determine the fuel requirements at any given time while the truck is running. This sensor is for the 1997 - 2003 7.3L diesel.
A bad EPB sensor can cause sluggish performance by signaling the EBP valve at the turbo outlet to close at times that it should not close. A defective EBP sensor can also contribute to poor mileage.
