I went to an "Auto box store" with the part number of the ICP that I wanted. The box looked like it had been returned to the store so, after purchasing the sensor I started researching the sensor on line. I found what I wanted and it was $100 dollars cheaper. So I returned the purchased sensor to the box store and 2 days later the right one arrived from fordiesels.com. Easy install (late 2004 6.0) and runs great.
cured my terrible running engine

Back up sensor

I bought this sensor as a back up. My truck eats sensors. I also bought a new pig tail. It appears that my old pig tail, which had been replaced at some point, was not fitting tight enough on the pins and was not makeing good contact. Time will tell. If your truck surges and idles rough, change the pig tail first.
